March for Babies 2013 will be our 4th walk in honor of our little man Sam. This year we are also the ambassador family for the Burlington VT walk.
If you would like to support team "Remember Sam" in this years March of Dimes you can donate here:
Samuel Oliver was born to us on October 9, 2009 with his twin brother Luke Alexander. Samuel had a condition called Anencephaly which meant that the neural tube did not close at the beginning of the pregnancy resulting in Sam having no skull from the eyebrows up and consequently his brain did not form fully. Sam died on October 12, 2009 after spending 3 wonderful days with his family and close friends.
Our target amount, $1012, is Sam's angelversary, please help us exceed this total and in turn help many babies and their little lives.
The March of Dimes is an organization which may one day be able to define the cause of Anencephaly and help minimize the number of babies born with this condition each year.
If you REMEMBER SAM, please join our team we would love you to walk with us or make a donation no matter how small.
The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
Funds raised in March for Babies support research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. And they will be used to bring comfort and information to families with a baby in newborn intensive care.
